We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Medical Office Receptionist to join our team at a Brandon-based healthcare facility. As a valued team member, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients and staff.

Position: Medical Office Receptionist

Location: Brandon, FL 33511

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

Warmly greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and collecting necessary payments.

Provide administrative support by answering phones, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing patient accounts with a focus on exceptional customer service.

Assist patients in navigating electronic platforms and online tools, ensuring their comfort and understanding.

Maintain accurate patient records, update contact information, and handle appointment scheduling efficiently and accurately.

Handle office correspondence, emails, voicemails, and perform general administrative duties including office organization and mail sorting.

Collaborate with the office lead to support pre-appointment processes and ensure the smooth functioning of daily office operations.

Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree is preferred.

At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or front desk setting.

Familiarity with OSHA/HIPAA regulations is advantageous.

Strong multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Legal authorization to work in the United States.
