In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our team of nurses and nurse practitioners as they utilize innovative remote monitoring programs to deliver top-notch care to patients. You’ll be the bridge between patients and the healthcare team, ensuring seamless communication and smooth operation of the program.
Your Responsibilities
Be the Patient Advocate: Collaborate with nurses and nurse practitioners to remotely monitor patients’ vital signs through user-friendly dashboards. Address alerts promptly and communicate updates to patients with empathy and professionalism.
Master of Communication: Demonstrate exceptional phone skills, actively listening to patients’ concerns and providing compassionate support and guidance.
Data Detective: Ensure accurate documentation of patient information in the EMR system, including vital signs, medical history, and test results.
Tech-Savvy Hero: Navigate EMR systems with ease, specifically AdvanceMD, to input and manage patient data.
The Orchestrator: Schedule virtual appointments with Nurse Practitioners, ensuring smooth coordination between patients and the healthcare team.
Compliance Champion: Uphold the highest standards of patient privacy and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
Qualifications We Seek
Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is a must.
Certification from a recognized Medical Assistant program is essential.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Proficiency in EMR systems, with experience in AdvanceMD a plus.
A strong grasp of patient care procedures and medical terminology is crucial.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
Strong organizational skills to manage patient records and appointment scheduling.
Exceptional customer service skills to provide empathetic and supportive patient interactions.
