Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing underwriting transactions, ensuring compliance with service standards and documentation.
Develop expertise in basic underwriting analysis, file preparation, and assessment.
Provide accurate rating support for both new business submissions and renewals.
Generate quotes, binders, and endorsements for the Underwriting team.
Issue new business and renewal policies as directed by the underwriters.
Foster a customer-centric approach by proactively engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including underwriters and other contacts.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external parties to ensure high service levels and meet client expectations.
Interact directly with various business partners and internal departments.
Maintain departmental service standards for each process.
Work closely with operations and technology teams to improve processes and implement system enhancements.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor’s or Technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in the insurance industry.
2+ years of experience in insurance product lines is preferred.
Familiarity with multiple lines of insurance products is a plus.
Knowledge of insurance policy forms and regulatory requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver results.
Focus on customer service excellence and value addition.
Digital proficiency; ability to extract insights from various sources.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & ImageRight.
