We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Project/Program Manager IV. This role offers the flexibility of telecommuting with potential for occasional onsite meetings, subject to mutual agreement between our agency and the selected candidate. Remote work will require utilization of agency-provided equipment while ensuring your availability during standard working hours via phone, email, or instant messaging. Access to agency systems will be facilitated through VPN or similar software.

We are embedded within the Oregon Immunization Program (OIP) and are dedicated to enhancing public health through innovative projects like the ALERT Immunization Information System (IIS) Replacement Project. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive platform that ensures access to immunization records while addressing emerging healthcare needs, including equity and inclusivity.

Role Overview

As a key member of our Project team, you will collaborate closely with the OIS Senior Project Manager to deliver exceptional Project Management Services and Deliverables for the ALERT IIS Replacement Project. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Developing and refining project planning and scheduling to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Managing and assisting in the completion of project deliverables for ALERT IIS.

Acting as a liaison with the OIS technical support team.

Maintaining detailed schedules, timelines, and critical paths.

Conducting stage gate review meetings with the OIP team.

Advising on and escalating key issues that impact project schedules.

Ensuring optimal allocation of resources for assigned tasks.

Generating resource capacity s for informed decision-making by senior management.

Crafting ad hoc s as needed.

Required Skills And Experience

Proficiency in Office 365 and Tableau.

Prior experience in state government projects.

Strong project management skills.

Exceptional communication abilities.

Demonstrated effectiveness in remote work settings.

Preferred Skills And Experience

Familiarity with WSDL Language.

Basic understanding of HL7, with desired HL7 immunization profiles.

Proficiency in Visio for process mapping.
