Key Responsibilities
Utilize your prior payer/provider experience with large datasets to support the implementation of medium to highly complex logical database designs and relational data definitions.
Collaborate closely with customers, vendors, and project teams to resolve information flow and content issues, ensuring the seamless operation of corporate and customer information systems.
Conduct data analytics on a daily basis, leveraging your expertise in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries.
Employ data quality tools for profiling, cleansing, and standardization, contributing to the enhancement of data accuracy and reliability.
Drive the implementation of solutions and processes for master data and hierarchy synchronizations, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
Seven (7) years of IT work experience, with at least five (5) years in quality assurance and/or data management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Proficiency in SQL and a strong aptitude for analytical thinking are essential.
Demonstrated expertise in data warehouse concepts, including slowly changing dimensions (SCD) and datamarts.
Ability to acquire, manage, manipulate, and analyze data effectively, drawing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Proven track record of analyzing and resolving issues with current and planned systems, processes, and data feeds.
Education & Experience
Associates Degree required; however, candidates with a minimum of seven (7) years of related Data Analyst experience are preferred.
Healthcare industry experience is highly desirable, particularly in the payer/provider domain.
Additional Skills & Abilities
Solid understanding of logical database design principles and methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to solve practical problems independently.
Proven capability to interpret technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
