Responsibilities
Act as a bridge between the county, regional, and state levels, facilitating collaboration with various service agencies throughout the region.
Lead the implementation of a state regional prevention model in your assigned region in partnership with DMHA.
Establish and maintain effective communication networks and platforms to best serve the county and region.
Forge strategic local and regional partnerships on behalf of DMHA to enhance regional prevention planning and implementation.
Disseminate crucial prevention information and resources within the designated region.
Facilitate Client Consultation Boards and Regional Prevention Councils.
Attend regular training sessions on the regional prevention system and primary prevention.
Participate in regional system meetings and DMHA meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a social service or health-related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proficiency in program coordination, program planning, and time management.
Strong writing and oral communication skills, along with meticulous record-keeping abilities.
Competency in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting software.
Experience working with groups and an understanding of group theory and practices.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Desired Qualifications
Reside within the region in which you will serve.
Knowledge of substance misuse prevention or related experience.
Prior experience in negotiations, contract management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Ability to facilitate or train large group convenings, providing technical support to contractors, community stakeholders, state stakeholders, and the private sector.
Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and ing.
Prior experience working in a public health setting.
