At our healthcare practice, we value exceptional support and are currently looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of our Practice Manager, supporting our patients and medical staff to ensure a positive impact in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
Phone Call Management: Answer and screen incoming telephone calls with a friendly and helpful demeanor. Document important messages related to illness, prescription refills, lab results, radiology s, test results, referrals, and more.
Appointment Scheduling: Utilize computer systems to efficiently schedule and modify appointments, prioritizing patient convenience.
Correspondence Organization: Assist in organizing and managing provider’s correspondence to promote smooth operations.
Patient Registration: Register patients promptly, ensuring accurate verification and updating of demographic and insurance information.
Financial Transactions: Handle financial aspects by accurately posting co-pays and payments.
Data Management: Maintain familiarity with healthcare software systems such as IDX, Allscripts, and/or Meditech.
Hybrid Schedule: Enjoy the potential for a hybrid schedule that allows for a mix of remote and in-office work.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multitask.
Proficiency with healthcare software systems (IDX, Allscripts, Meditech) is a plus.
A friendly and professional attitude with a commitment to patient satisfaction.
