Responsibilities
Verify patient pharmacy and medical coverage details and process information with precision.
Proficiently handle pharmacy claims on behalf of patients through a pharmacy benefit system.
Accurately confirm medical benefits on behalf of patients.
Secure necessary authorizations and overrides as required.
Assist patients in applying for copay cards and/or assistance programs.
Engage with patients to review financial responsibilities, obtain consent, and process payments.
Ensure proper setup for shipment of medications.
Contribute to special projects as needed.
Actively participate in staff meetings.
Fulfill other assigned tasks as necessary.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Minimum Of 2 Years’ Experience In Processing Pharmacy Claims.
Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for professional and effective interaction.
Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.
Proficiency in EDS billing systems, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or familiarity with the healthcare industry, especially in a mail-order or specialty pharmacy setting.
Knowledge of CPR+ system or similar healthcare-related software.
