Responsibilities

Attend and Take Notes: Participate in classroom sessions, capturing essential insights from virtual lectures.

Assess Student Performance: Evaluate assignments, papers, and exams to provide constructive feedback.

Collaborate with Instructors: Work closely with the course instructor to establish grading criteria and ensure students’ progress.

Efficient Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of individual and overall course grades using user-friendly tools like spreadsheets or the online learning management system.

Host TA Sessions: Plan and conduct weekly TA sessions, fostering an interactive and supportive learning environment.

Foster Student Communication: Be available during office hours to promptly respond to student inquiries regarding grades, assignments, and course material.

Enhance Course Material: Contribute to the maintenance of the course Canvas site, posting assignments, notes, and grades to facilitate student access.

Qualifications

Passion for Education: A Bachelor’s Degree and experience in relevant content areas will empower you to excel in this role.

Teaching Enthusiasm: Prior teaching experience in the specific course content area is a plus.

Tech-Savviness: Comfort with technology and course formats will enable you to navigate the virtual landscape seamlessly.
