Qualifications
Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and intermediate written communication skills.
Proficiency in basic computer usage.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Fluency in Spanish is advantageous.
Genuine enjoyment of working with children and fostering a positive learning environment.

Compensation And Benefits
Salary will be commensurate with experience and responsibilities. The position offers flexible hours ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week based on employee availability. Additionally, paid sick time and generous retirement benefits are available after three years of service.
General Responsibilities
Address student and parent concerns promptly and effectively or escalate as necessary.
Oversee staff management and ensure smooth daily, weekly, and monthly operations of classes and the center.
Assist with or manage monthly marketing initiatives and retention events, such as student awards ceremonies, promotions, and holiday events.
Handle customer service issues in a timely manner.
Maintain an organized and tidy physical space as required.
Front Desk
Answer incoming phone calls professionally.
Communicate with students and parents during class-time, addressing their needs promptly and discreetly.
Assist in managing student schedules.
Schedule parent conferences and orientation appointments.
Support the enrollment process.
Lesson Planning
Ensure students develop proper study habits and work skills, and train staff accordingly.
Reinforce individualized strategies for student development based on goals and communication with Instructors.
Conduct ongoing assessments of staff and student skills development.
Update and maintain student lesson plans in Kumon’s Center Management System.
Collaborate closely with Instructors to understand and execute lesson plans tailored to each student’s goals.
Provide feedback to Instructors based on student observations and performance.
Grading
Grade student classwork, homework, and corrections to assess mastery of concepts.
Offer assistance and guidance to staff and students, adhering to Kumon Method standards and center procedures.
Manage assistants to ensure a balanced workload and timely completion of grading before the end of class.
