Gerard’s Equipment Ltd. is Looking for Delivery Driver & New Equipment Assembly Full Time

We are a sales and service shop for heavy duty agricultural and construction equipment. We are seeking a motivated individual to work with customers to arrange pickup and delivery of equipment. When not driving, candidate will be expected to utilize time to assemble new equipment, clean and manage yard space.
Duties:

• Pick-up and delivery of agricultural and construction equipment.
• Periodic collection and handling of Service invoices, contracts and payments directly with customers.
• Maintenance duties within the Store, including assembly of heavy duty equipment.
• Moving and cleaning up of crates etc. to maintain space in yard.

Skills and Requirements:

• Must have the ability to work independently.
• Standard Class 5 license to drive flat-deck truck. (driving abstract required)
• Should have working/operational experience with forklifts, large and small agricultural pieces, and construction pieces.
• Ability to manage all associated paperwork and process for pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required.
• mechanical knowledge is a huge asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months

Salary: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
