Job Summary
Position is responsible for moving inventory as needed to maintain FIFO, production and manage available racking / floor space.
Picking and receiving orders for both internal and external customers, closing PO’s from outside sources, cycle counting etc.
Education, Training, Skills and Licenses Required
- Previous experience with Forklift is a requirement.
- Computer skills
- Ability to read and understand requirements on orders.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be comfortable working on elevated platform
- Forklift certification will be required
- Attention to detail is essential
- Organizational skills
Essential Functions
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock; recording location of inventory and inventory movement.
- Locate materials and supplies and pull to open floor locations and or production.
- Accurately pick, pull and receive components, as necessary.
- Verify stock for shortages and defective products.
- Maintain FIFO when pulling parts from upper locations.
- Good attendance is required for this position
- Safety sensitive position
