What Will You Do?

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, your client group will consist of the Client Services and Support teams. You will own the Talent Acquisition responsibility to help these groups build client relationships (sales), manage projects, develop engineering, and help us manage all corporate and support team roles. We emphasize collaboration and teamwork and offer a hybrid work setting to allow for maximum team effectiveness which includes the option for a day or two at home if that brings you greater performance and balance.

How will You influence success?

Strategy:

• Consult/collaborate with other People Partners to identify what the client’s critical talent needs are and turn that into an annual workforce plan
• Apply a Continuous Improvement mindset to track and review KPIs (TTF, Quality of Hire, etc.) and make procedural changes with a focus for improvement
• Use data to inform the Talent Development Team about current state of performance in Talent Acquisition
• Use a mixture of technology and efficient human process to create a “high-touch” candidate experience that can scale with organizational growth
• Determine a strategy for use of sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, Instagram) that helps establish a strong employment brand in the marketplace.
• Build relationships with preferred applicant resources including search firms, governmental agencies, college placement centers, trade schools, and related organizations
• Establish and maintain a strong process for full cycle recruiting for your client groups

Intake:

• Meet with the client to determine critical competencies and profile demographics for an open role, identify key markets for talent, determine interview strategy and team, and kickoff the process for all stakeholders involved

Sourcing:

• Lead hiring manager through the job posting creation and ensure alignment on platforms to target.
• Coordinate with client group and Talent Development Team to build a stream of candidates from diverse backgrounds but strong abilities

Interviewing:

• Review and screen candidates for technical competence, cultural alignment, and long-term fit
• Coordinate with others on the Talent Development Team to ensure that our best candidates have a background that matches our client’s high-compliance requirements

Selection

• Help design and facilitate a strong process to ensure that we select the most qualified candidate across all dimensions of the role (technical skill, cultural alignment and diversity of background and experience).

Offer:

• Ensure that offers extended align with the market, with candidate’s expectations and that we can exceed industry benchmarks for offer-close ratio’s

Onboarding:

• Ensure that the candidate remains engaged and excited through to the successful start in the role
• Coordinate with other Talent Development team members on handoffs to facilitate a smooth onboarding process

Qualifications

• What Factors likely determine your Success?
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
• A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
• 5+ years of experience recruiting professional roles in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant work experience may substitute for required education
• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition – intake, sourcing, screening for cultural and technical fit, coordinating team interviews, calibration and closing the deal
• Strong desire to innovative and use technology to its full advantage
• Desire to align with Team Performance objectives and drive for Success
• Strong use of technology (applicant tracking, career websites, AI overlay to attract applicants, etc.) to ensure robust pipelines of engaged and qualified talent
• Experience with employment branding and marketing tools (social media, etc.) to boost visibility
• Data driven with proven experience improving recruiting KPIs (time to fill, quality of hire,

Preferred:

• Lean Continuous Improvement experience
• Experience in the construction/Engineering industry
• Experience with technical and leader recruiting – Civil/Geotech Engineers, PM’s, mid-level managers and critical support roles
• Demonstrated consultative and solution-oriented approach to recruitment search engagements
• Experience working in a service focused organization of comparable size and complexity

Pay: $77,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
