HR Officer

As a result of our continued growth and $1 billion work-in-hand, Georgiou has an exciting opportunity for a HR Officer to join our North Sydney office to deliver effective and high-quality HR administration, support and advice throughout all employee lifecycle stages in accordance with relevant employment legislation, policies, organisational directives and work instructions.
Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, you will be trusted to:

• Work in partnership with Senior Management and the broader HR team to identify and facilitate effective, consistent people management strategies to meet business plans
• Provide confidential advice on a broad range of HR matters mostly relating to company policies & procedures, terms & conditions of employment, HR grievances and employee benefits
• Facilitate effective HR meetings and participate in site audits/visits to build strong working relationships to deliver high-quality and professional HR services across Georgiou projects in NSW
• Ensure operational and day to day HR requirements of the business throughout all employee lifecycle stages (including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, HR management system) are appropriately met

What you’re good at:
Aside from having similar exposure in a similar HR generalist, graduate or administrative role, you are a people person and a passionate self-starter with common sense and high-level emotional intelligence, someone with:

• Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including proficient skills in computers (Excel, Notes etc.) and strong attention to detail.
• The ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with a wide variety of people, internally and externally
• The ability to work independently to prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
• Ability to interpret legislation, regulations, Awards, Industrial Agreements together with policy and procedure.

Your application will be prioritised if you have worked in the construction or other similar industries prior.
