Fugees Family Inc. is a non-profit organization that operates Georgia Fugees Academy Charter School,an independent, tuition-free middle and high school for refugee students. Fugees Academies are the first schools in the United States dedicated to refugee education. Working as a team both on and off the field, members of the Fugees Academy community strive to support each other while working to achieve individual goals. We believe that this team mind-set nurtures and prepares young adults who will be the next generation of international and community leaders. The core design principles of the school include an extended school day, a low teacher-student-ratio, interactive instruction, a comprehensive tutoring program, a soccer-focused athletic program, and intensive wrap-around support services for students and their families.

Job Description
GFACS is seeking a qualified College and Career Counselor to support and educate high school students through a well-prepared career and college-counseling program. The Counselor/Coordinator will support the goal of every student graduating from high school college and career ready. The College and Career Counselor will also serve as the facilitator for the attaining of students’ academic or career goals and progress. This is a full-time, ten-month position.
