Title : Logistics Coordinator

Status : Hourly – Full Time – Non-Exempt

Supervisor : Director of Operations

Job Summary : Maintain quality customer service and professional relationship with assigned customers. Identify potential issues and rectify existing problems for total customer satisfaction.

Process and prepare work orders to meet customer requirements. Must be detailed oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities : Plan and execute objectives as determined by Manager of Distribution & Home Delivery. Prepare paperwork and related documents for delivery and warehouse personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Maintain efficient routing of trucks with optimum deliveries to maximize revenues. Compile statistics and other information regarding service, customer issues, rates, and long-term problem resolutions.

Process invoicing on daily and weekly basis and review for accuracy before submitting to Accounting Department. Interact with other operational personnel on as-needed basis for superior quality customer service.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications : Required : High school diploma or equivalent with one to three years’ experience in customer service or transportation industry, including computer literacy.

Skills : Strong analytical and interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills in English. Attention to detail and self-motivated.

Well organized and team player. Able to handle multiple responsibilities. Computer literacy with PC based systems, including spreadsheets and word processing software must be proficient with Excel and Word.

Work Environment : Majority of job in office setting with extended sitting and utilization of computer terminal. Minimal travel required.

Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs), walking, stooping, kneeling, seeing, hearing, and bending required with or without reasonable accommodations.
