About the Position:
The Admissions Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of duties to assist the Admissions Office. The Admissions Assistant will report directly to the Assistant Dean for Admissions. Scalia Law School’s Admissions Office is open from 9:00 am -5:00 pm. The ideal candidate would work a minimum of 14 hours per week with a schedule to include either Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday.

Responsibilities:
Serve as a receptionist to the Admissions Office;

Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and courteous manner;

Answer incoming phone calls and provide helpful information to prospective students;

Process vendor invoices, prepare payment vouchers/requests, and create eVa requests for the Assistant Dean for Admissions;

Assist with office mailings (including receiving incoming mail and helping with outgoing mailing);

Ensure accurate data entry in admissions database;

Provide administrative assistance to the Assistant Dean for Admissions;

Manage email inboxes to provide timely and professional customer service to prospective and admitted students;

Assist in scanning and printing projects;

Coordinate and schedule a variety of events for the Assistant Dean for Admissions;

Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent experience in an office environment;

Demonstrated customer service;

Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office;

Detailed oriented and ability to multitask;

Effective interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
