GEOGRAPHIC SOLUTIONS INC Hiring for AI Prompt Engineer I at Remote Full Time

Job Summary: The AI Prompt Engineer I will be responsible for a variety of duties in support of the Company’s Geographic Solutions Unemployment System (GUS) & Virtual OneStop (VOS) software solutions. The AI Prompt Engineer I will work closely with other team members in an Agile environment who have responsibility for prompt and timely delivery of new development, maintenance incidents, configuration tasks, setup tasks, responding to customer questions, data change requests, and other duties as assigned by the Team Lead. Responsible for developing, refining, and optimizing AI-generated text prompts to ensure they are accurate, engaging, and relevant for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and refine AI-generated text prompts for various applications
• Collaborate with content creators, product teams and data scientists to ensure prompt alignment with company goals and user needs
• Monitor and analyze prompt performance to identify areas for improvement
• Optimize AI prompt generation process to enhance overall system performance
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI, natural language processing and machine learning
• Provide support to content and product teams in understanding prompt engineering best practices
• Draft and distribute s on prompt performance and development progress
• Maintain web applications
• Design and build applications using Microsoft .NET Technologies
• Migrate internally developed applications to latest Microsoft .NET Technologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug development and production issues
• Perform tests to find system/software defects
• Follow design specs
• Applying best practices
• Read specifications and design software solutions
• Mentoring
• Create design specs

Requirements:

Work Experience / Knowledge:

• Proven work experience as a Prompt Engineer or similar role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in programming languages, AI-related tools such as ChatGPT, and data analysis techniques
• Comprehensive understanding of natural language processing, machine learning and AI-generated content development
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Relevant training and/or certifications in computer science, AI or a related field
• Proven, real world work experience in Microsoft Software Environment: MS SQL Server, .NET Framework, Visual Studio 2010 – 2017
• Experience with migrating legacy applications to .NET Platform
• Experience writing and debugging ASP.NET Web Form applications
• Experience using Team Foundation Server
• Experience with JavaScript, JavaScript libraries: JQuery, Bootstrap, Mustache, AngularJS
• Experience with WCF/REST Services, Web API, and Mobile development is a plus
• 5-7 years of ASP.Net programming

Qualifications / Certifications:

• Relevant training and/or certifications in computer science, AI or a related field
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required
• A Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems is a plus
• MCSD / MCPD Certifications is a plus
