Lake Mary based medical/surgical distributor seeks a qualified Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk for an immediate full-time career opportunity. This position supports the Accounting Manager and will assist with all aspects of Accounts Receivable and Payable focusing on: Bill Entry, Invoicing, and Vendor/Customer relations. NetSuite experience is preferred. Candidates must have experience in high volume Data Entry and possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy of work product. Salary plus benefits including PTO, health, dental and vision. Background/Drug Screen required. This position will begin working remotely and eventually will be moved to the Lake Mary office.

Responsibilities Include:

• Enter bills into accounting system by reviewing and matching to purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies
• Create 75+ Customer Invoices Daily
• Process Credit Card Payments
• Receive and Deposit Checks
• Research and post Electronic Deposits
• Review and reconcile monthly vendor statements
• Contact customers via phone and email to collect payments
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal staff regarding payment status of bills, invoices, general inquires, and all other relevant requests

Skills:

• Proven accounting experience.
• Experience with high volume transactions daily
• Must be detail oriented, with accurate data entry skills
• Strong organizational skills and deadline oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong follow-up skills
• Possess Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Must have intermediate to advance skills in Outlook, Excel and other MS office programs
• Proven ability to work well with a team, showing initiative, a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard
