The Business
Our group has experienced exceptional growth in the last few years, recently joining the ASX. GenusPlus Group consists of several companies that are supported through an agile and collaborative finance team.

We are seeking to recruit a team player to join the Finance Team at our head office in Belmont, WA.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Management Accountants’ responsibilities will include:

• Perform regular analysis of profit and loss to assist with month end processing and reporting,
• Liaise and assist Project Managers and EGMs with all accounting and reporting related matters and queries,
• Partner with business stakeholders to assist business decision making and provide guidance to obtain financial information autonomously,
• Prepare monthly commentary and variance analysis, investigating issues as required,
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting,
• Assist with maintaining financial systems policies and procedures and resolve financial system problems,
• Ad-hoc tasks as required by your manager and management.

About You
You are highly organised with strong analytical capability, intermediate to advance excel and financial skills. You will cope well in a high-volume, fast paced environment. You are a great team player and can build strong, positive working relationships with your peers and stakeholders. You have proven experience using various ERP systems and can demonstrate previous process improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications & Experience

• Tertiary qualification/s in Accounting/Business/Commerce or similar field.
• Post graduate qualification (CA or CPA) or working towards completion,
• Minimum 3 years experience in an Accounting / Finance Role,
• Problem solving skills with high attention to detail,
• Ability to work autonomously and a strong team contributor,
• Advanced analytical skills and intermediate to advance Excel skills,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
• Ability to effectively exercise initiative and discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism,
• Ability to multitask effectively.
