About the role

The Talent Acquisition Manager will partner with leaders throughout the organisation to oversee and provide guidance, expertise and support in relation to recruitment of current and upcoming business needs.

They will show high candidate interest and care, assisting attract talent to genU and foster a positive reputation in the marketplace.

This is a varied role that mixes the opportunity for strategic thinking and hands on candidate attraction. Suitable to someone with 10+ years of Recruitment, Attraction and Retention experience gained in diverse and distributed businesses, ready to take the next step in their career.

As our Talent Acquisition Manager you will:

• Design and implement a multi-pronged sourcing strategy, aligned with the nature of business needs and possible regional / local nature of roles
• Consider and put in place strategic partnerships that may directly attract employees to genU
• Lead and grow skills within the T&A team
• Support Senior or more complex role recruitment
• Coach and help build recruitment skills in Hiring Managers, including unconscious bias
• Design and embed contemporary tools and talent attractions processes
• Work with Business and Hiring Managers to consider candidate pools and most appropriate attract mechanism.
• Ensure all external and internal selection procedures are transparent, systematic and promote “best person for the role” approach.
• Proactively use own networks, channels and platforms such as Linked In to proactively identify and approach potential genU employees
• Educate and coach genU Managers in selection techniques and create functional user guides and toolkits to support selection decisions.

About you:

Essential:

• Degree qualified in HR or similar business discipline
• At least 5 years’ experience managing a Recruitment/TA team in a complex and diverse business
• Experience in developing and embedding a Talent Acquisition strategy
• Strong interpersonal and team skills and behaviours, incorporating verbal and written communication, flexibility, resilience.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service, with a continuous improvement focus.
• Results and outcome focused, able to provide data and insights for Risk, Executive and board reporting
• NDIS Screening Workers Check or willingness to complete prior to commencing
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion

Desirable:

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including advanced negotiation and influencing capabilities;
• Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and stakeholders simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment;
• A values-based leadership way of working;
• Current Australian Drivers Licence as travel will be required.
