We are currently hiring for a few Junior Software Engineers. You will be expected to support the development of quality products by actively contributing and collaborating with team members and other developers across teams. Gentrack is a 500 person, growing business, listed in the public markets of New Zealand and Australia. The main people centers are in London, Auckland, Melbourne and Pune.

In this role you can expect to :

• Be involved with customers, such as with requirements gathering and software deployment
• Ability to take on tasks and proactively acquire the product and technical knowledge necessary to deliver your contributions
• Active participation in all aspects of agile software development
• The successful delivery of software from your team to your customers
• Open to receiving feedback on the quality and quantity of your technical outputs

What you need to be successful :

• 1+ years’ commercial software development experience
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Quick at learning new technologies and systems
• Some knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies
• Experience working in a team especially a self-managing team
