Job Description

Located in Montreal West Island, in Pointe-Claire, our factory is looking for a Paint Machine Operator to join our amazing team. Relevant experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment is an asset Permanent full-time position, unionized. Rotation – 12 hrs schedule: from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

Responsibilities:
The paint machine operator is responsible for all process tasks related to paint application. He must prepare, mix, adjust the viscosity and perform all other actions required by the operating procedures in force.

In addition, he must, together with the team leader, make all the necessary adjustments so that the painted coils comply with the quality standards defined by the quality control department. He will also participate in the quality process by reporting to the team leader any anomaly he has detected on the raw or painted material.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Prepare and clean the painting machine so that it is in good working order and available as quickly as possible during shutdowns.

Ensure that the products necessary for the smooth running of operations relating to the application of paint are available and within reach.

Ensure that all rules and requirements related to the handling and storage of flammable materials are respected in his sector.

Maintain constant monitoring of the operating process in order to ensure that it is carried out safely.

Any other work not necessarily related to his usual duties when assigned.

Qualifications

Master French. English is an asset;

1-3 experience as an operator;

Punctual, reliable and professional;

Work experience in a manufacturing environment;

Be sensitive to the importance of Occupational Health and Safety;

Have a positive and determined attitude;

40 minutes lunch is paid
