Job Description

Located in Montreal West Island, in Pointe-Claire, our factory is looking for Forklift Operators to join our amazing team. Relevant experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment and in standard forklift driving is an important asset. Permanent full-time position, unionized. Schedule: Variable weekly Rotation mandatory: day, evening, The same shift is scheduled for the entire week. from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Drive the forklift safely;

Load and unload the merchandise while respecting the procedures established by Gentek;

Ensure the production line doesn’t miss supplies;

Be sure to strictly follow health and safety rules;

Perform various production-related tasks as required.

Qualifications

Master French. English is an asset

A valid forklift license;

Experience in driving a standard sit-down forklift;

Be able to work in rotation on shifts: day, evening, night;

Punctual, reliable and professional;

Work experience in a manufacturing environment;

Be aware of the importance of following the Health and Safety rules;

Have a positive and determined attitude.
