We have ambitious plans so we are calling for a Talent Acquisition Partner to help build the team here at Genomics. We are building a Talent Acquisition function from scratch so this is a very exciting time to join us.
The Talent team’s mission is to identify, attract and on-board exceptional talent, in order to efficiently and effectively meet our exciting growth journey.
In this role, you’ll report to the Head of Talent Acquisition and lead on all scientific and operational hiring. You’ll join as a member of our wider People team and be responsible for creating strong relationships with hiring managers, people partners, senior management and the wider health and biotech community within Europe.
You will have a strong delivery focus but you’ll also be working on projects around candidate and hiring manager experience, candidate attraction and employer brand.
So what exactly will you be doing?
Lead direct sourcing activities for all our scientific, clinical and operational roles.
Work alongside the other members of the team to build a world class Talent Acquisition function.
Provide a brilliant experience for every candidate and drive the interview process end-to-end from sourcing to closing the offer.
Be a trusted partner- both with hiring managers as well as the wider People Team.
Be passionate about inclusive recruitment practices and focus on building a diverse and talented candidate pool.
Focus on delivering a best in class and efficient recruitment process.
Be able to report on recruitment metrics such as funnel, time to hire etc. and use analytics to track progress and influence recruiting processes and direction.
Be innovative in sourcing strategies and be able to identify different strategies for different roles.
Build strong candidate pipelines through building relationships with potential candidates.
Work closely with stakeholders on headcount planning and forecasting.
Constantly find ways of improving the way we hire.
And what must you bring to the table?
Experience of working in-house including time spent in a high growth, fast paced scale up business preferably in the life sciences, health tech or bio tech space.
Be comfortable working high volume recruitment.
The ability to prioritise and juggle multiple balls in the air.
An understanding of managing budgets and working against targets.
The know-how to come up with creative sourcing techniques to attract the right talent and know your way around different sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter etc.
Be exceptionally client-focused, partnering with both our business leaders, hiring managers and external candidates to deliver a first-class experience for all stakeholders.
Be confident in being able to assess candidates for tech roles without guidance Experience operating as a Full-Cycle Recruiter, developing, facilitating, and implementing all phases of the recruitment process.
Proven success in creating inclusive hiring practices.
Enthusiastic and motivated self-starter who is not afraid to ask questions and has a natural focus on making things happen.
Experience with using Lever (desirable).Experience of hiring within the US (desirable).
The role is predominantly remote with 20-40% of time travelling to either our offices in Oxford or Cambridge. We are right next to the train stations in both of these locations so it is a very easy commute in.
