The role

• Manage creditors including creating payment runs

• Handle bank reconciliations

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliation packs

• Prepare and post accruals and prepayments

• Prepare and post deferred and accrued income

• Assist the management accountant with reporting

• Prepare customer statements and raise sales invoices to clients.

Role requirements:

• Strong IT skills including Xero and Excel

• Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and a passion to deliver top quality work

• Strong time management, organisational and planning skills

• Excellent communication skills – in person and written

• Outstanding attention to detail

• Qualification in accounting or maths would be an advantage

• Has previous experience working in a similar role as a Finance Assistant
