As the leader of the Australian Talent Acquisition function, you will have an amazing opportunity to help build, optimize, and drive best in class talent initiatives for one of the global leaders in cancer care. This individual will become a member of the Global Talent Acquisition Leadership Team whose purpose is to develop and set direction for consistent ways of working globally.
This role is accountable for leading a team of talent acquisition partners focused on hiring for all roles at GenesisCare across Australia. This strategic leader will develop the overall vision and long-term strategy for how this team will consistently support the business. The individual will be responsible for implementing standard ways of working to include the candidate experience, assessment/selection processes, development of research/diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives/sourcing strategies, and will be the primary point of contact for executive and physician hiring.

This role reports to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, who is responsible for guiding the end-to-end Talent Acquisition strategy for GenesisCare globally.
Your key responsibilities:
Leadership/Management Role:
This leader will continue to build, mentor, and develop a diverse talent acquisition team and drive an environment of continuous learning. This individual will manage the team through the identification of development opportunities, guidance around TA strategies, and ensure successful relationships are being built with HR and GC Leadership. They will help escalate the team to be viewed by leaders as true business partners.
Collaboration:
This individual will be a player/coach, they will be responsible for a few executive/physician roles while also helping deliver on the long-term strategy for the AUS TA team. This is a highly collaborative role working closely with the talent acquisition leadership team, human resources, and executives in establishing recruiting strategies, tactics, and processes. This leader will partner with our AUS leaders to develop current and future hiring plans that accelerate ambitious hiring goals and account for growth.
Strategy:
This leader will drive recruiting strategy in alignment with Global Head of Talent Acquisition while ensuring local/country needs have been considered. This role plays a lead in the design and implementation of business-wide TA processes, BBI assessments, reporting, DE&I recruiting initiatives, and vendor management. They will be responsible for launching initiatives to strengthen the diversity of our talent at all stages of the hiring funnel. We will look for this leader to identify and design best-in-class recruitment strategies, processes, and systems in partnership with the Global Head of Talent Acquisition to ensure a consistent approach to the recruitment lifecycle globally. In addition, they will develop innovative sourcing strategies and procedures that ensure there is a consistent and positive candidate experience, which increases the prospects of acquisition and retention of talent for the business.
Analytics, Processes, and Systems:
The Head of TA for AUS will play an analytical role in creating and delivering updates on talent acquisition activities and initiatives to leadership, including: monitoring results, impacts, and cost-effectiveness of current TA strategies to identify trends, and adjusting TA strategies to optimise recruiter performance and results.
This leader will continually optimise our Applicant Tracking System to build process efficiencies. In addition, they will be responsible for the oversight of recruitment spend including external agencies and branding, conferences, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
10 + years of recruiting experience, including 5+ years managing recruiters/ junior recruiters
A comprehensive understanding of recruiting practices within the healthcare industry, physician recruiting experience preferred.
An understanding of pre-assessment testing and use of BBI to foster a comprehensive senior level hiring process.
Experience managing the performance and professional development of other senior level recruiters
Experience creating and executing recruiter training and mentoring a team
Experience supporting a fast-paced, high growth organisation
Expertise in market mapping, research, candidate development, hiring manager relationship development, and presenting overall recruiting outcomes to senior leaders
Strong bias towards organized and structured ways of working with mindset towards aligning all processes globally
Exceptional organisational, verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with physicians and business partners at all levels of the organisation
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities and a diverse workload, while achieving results in a fast-paced environment
Corporate recruitment experience highly preferred, for both physician and executive recruitment.
Experience working on a global team and developing systems and processes to scale globally.
