Generation Love Hiring for INTERNSHIP – Production, PAID at New York, New York Full Time
Location: Long Island City, NY
Paid / Unpaid: Paid
Duration: 3-6 months
Role Overview:
Fast growing contemporary womenswear brand Generation Love is seeking a part-time paid production intern ASAP. Intern will work with our production team to see all stages involved from pre-production into production.
Responsibilities:
- Working directly with production team on various hands-on projects including sourcing fabrics and trims
- Expect a wide range of tasks from organizing binders to communicating with local factories
- Spec’ing garments & help prepare for fittings
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Knowledge of garment construction and fundamental understanding of spec measurements
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of fabric and understanding of basic applications
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Positive attitude
