General Motors Hiring for Coach Facilitator – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) at Remote Full Time

This can be a remote position; the selected candidate can reside and perform the work from anywhere within the United States.

The Role:
Drive significant growth to GM’s DEI maturity through coaching Inclusive Leadership Behaviors and inspiring lasting behavior change that creates a more inclusive workplace where all employees feel respected & valued.

Deliverables:
Grow GM’s DEI Maturity to the level where all people leaders and team members embrace Diversity, Equity and Inclusion globally

Lead the DEI Movement by focusing on people leader inclusion skill development so all employees feel respected and valued

Positively impact current measures on Inclusion i.e. Workplace of Choice and our Inclusiveness Index

Responsibilities:
Must be able to coach-up people leaders in their inclusion leadership skills in small cohorts and in 1:1 meetings

Partner with people leaders to better understand DEI data insights and feedback from their teams and consult with them effectively so they will act on the information and be held accountable to drive our DEI Movement forward

Create opportunities and experiences for leaders and employees to learn and grow as individuals and teams

Possess strong understanding of cultural trends, industry trends and current events in DEI space and diverse communities to stakeholders in a relevant matter that supports dialogue and understanding; Provides ad-hoc on-demand support for questions and challenges

Provide counsel to leadership and HR on setting/achieving DEI objectives that latter up to corporate DEI business priorities

Support analysis of domestic DEI programs for use globally and learn from global initiatives to enhance and strengthen U.S. programs

Develop Cultural Ambassadors globally to become stronger facilitators, coaches and consultants to drive higher collaboration and accountability towards our aspiration of becoming the most inclusive company in the world

Culture Expert/Workplace Consultant: Experience leading culture initiatives in large, global organizations successfully

Moment Maker: Creating impactful inclusive culture moments for teams at all levels.

Proven Motivator: Ability to inspire employees at all levels of a global organization to care about culture and change their behavior virtually and in-person. Storytelling is essential in delivering inspirational messages and gives a voice to people who are facing challenges and adversity

Master Facilitator: Ability to get people to share their truth and information that they would not ordinarily share. This is extremely helpful in overcoming conflict and in facilitating activities that drives real behavioral change, virtually and in-person.

Multi-Connector: Relationships are essential, must have strong first name recall and motivate and lead with influence across the entire organization.Must have grit and leverage innovative & global thinking to make progress when resources are limited

Innovative Learner: Must stay current with business updates and is consistently building upon your expertise of people, workplace culture and the impact on business results. Business and cultural relevancy will be key to your team’s success

Problem-Solver: Demonstrable ability to quickly identify the core problems and mindsets that holds teams back from achieving desired results and the desired culture state, provide innovative solutions and help them integrate those solutions through accountability and follow-up

Requirements:
Nationally/Internationally recognized coaching certifications and has direct experience coaching leaders of all levels of the organization

Willingness to travel up to 30%

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience of five years plus

Well versed in using MS Teams OR other virtual platforms to facilitate and perform 1:1 Coaching

Preferred:
Experience in manufacturing or large corporations

Experience using Personality Assessments i.e. Strengths Finder, Myers Briggs

Compensation: The median level of salary compensation for this role is $113,760.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
