About the Role
Dick’s Lumber & Building Supplies, part of the RONA family, is seeking a bold, results‑driven General Manager to lead our Crossfield branch to market leadership. This role blends strategic sales leadership, operational excellence, and manufacturing support to drive growth, efficiency, and exceptional customer experiences.
You will guide a high‑performing team, expand profitable customer relationships, and ensure operational and manufacturing resources align seamlessly with sales objectives. Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Market Growth
- Develop and execute a branch sales strategy that drives revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Grow key accounts and identify new business opportunities.
- Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to ensure product quality, availability, and service levels support sales success.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop your leadership team to achieve strong performance and build future bench strength.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee store, yard, and manufacturing support operations to maximize efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Ensure operational processes, staffing, and resources align with sales and service goals.
Financial & Performance Management
- Set ambitious performance targets and manage branch budgets.
- Analyze financial and operational metrics to drive margin improvement, cost control, and inventory optimization.
- Strengthen delivery, logistics, and manufacturing support to enhance overall branch performance.
Marketing & Local Initiatives
- Lead local marketing efforts and sales initiatives that elevate brand visibility and accelerate growth.
Customer Focus

Safety & Compliance
