About The Position
The General Labor Construction Worker supports construction projects by performing a variety of physical tasks on job sites. This role assists skilled tradespeople, maintains job site cleanliness and safety, and helps ensure projects are completed efficiently and to quality standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, and working outdoors)
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions

- Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and breaking down job sites, including moving materials and equipment
- Clean, sweep, and remove debris to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and supplies
- Perform basic construction tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and material handling
- Assist carpenters, installers, equipment operators, and other skilled workers as directed
- Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete or gravel when required
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE
- Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations
- Operate small machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, compactors, or generators
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
