Key Job Elements:
Software development for special projects in various computer languages (ex. VBA, C#, SQL)

Full lifecycle for software developed by the team from Design to implementation.

Action incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve application and software issues within servers, databases, and other mission-critical systems

Prioritize, schedule, and administrate all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required

Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level where needed

Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams and end users

Test fixes / patches and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved Troubleshoot and debug issues with applications/databases

Participate in the design, development, and delivery of software applications training programs and run training classes

Participate in IT meetings as required to represent their functional area’s interests

Release and update drawings and designs into Teamcenter

Creating and supporting software tools (databases, etc.) for internal and external customers

Provides input for bid development for Advanced Technical Maintenance Products related activities

Monitor, and track customer work requests

Provides month end status updates on on-going activities

Will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to their functional area

Position Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
College diploma or university degree in computer programming or in a related field

Minimum 3 – 5 years relevant experience

Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills

Demonstrated strength in writing and documentation skills

Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

Able to conduct research into application integration issues and products

Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Experience working with teams and/or customers

Experience developing end user applications selecting the appropriate language (C#, VBA, etc.)

Experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) and Database Design (Data Modeling

Preferred Qualifications:
3 years direct experience in enterprise-level application integration

Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems

Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping and methodology development, and data mapping

Experience in Teamcentre and NX

Technically fluent in programming languages, including VB .Net, C# and SQL

Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques

Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
