General Contractor Hiring for Administrative and Accounting Assistant Job at Everett, WA Full Time

We are a construction company, located in North Everett, looking for a detail-oriented person to process accounts payable invoices and credit card receipts, and provide administrative assistance to project management teams.

The position responsibilities include working closely with the Accounting Manager and Project Management teams, to ensure that the information and tasks are completed on time. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent time management, communication, and proactive problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to collaborate with, vendors, and internal teams, to deliver results within deadlines.

Starting wage will be $23 to $26 per hour and will be determined by individual relative experience. Please state in your reply if you have a minimum pay requirement.

Required Work Experience and Software Knowledge

• Work experience in an administrative support role – minimum 2 years
• Strong skills in MS Office 365, specifically Excel and Outlook
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
• Strong reading comprehension and communication skills
• Strong proactive, independent, and problem-solving working skills

Responsibilities

• Process company credit card receipts, with initial coding and cost verification
• Process accounts payable invoices through our document routing program, and ensure timely processing and approvals are done
• Set up new vendors, and manage and maintain required insurance and licensing documentation required by multiple City and State Agencies we work within
• Assist the company Controller with various reports and accounting/administrative projects as needed
• Work with the Project Management on miscellaneous project tasks, if needed
• Manage and maintain office equipment and supplies
• Miscellaneous office tasks, such as answer phones, process outgoing mail, go to Post Office and Bank when needed
