Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to various building projects, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a range of construction skills across diverse projects, from residential to commercial developments. The Builder will work closely with project managers and other tradespeople to deliver quality results within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures using a variety of materials and techniques
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to execute tasks accurately
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during construction activities
• Perform carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, and finishing work
• Carry out masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
• Undertake roofing repairs or installations as required by project specifications
• Conduct plumbing tasks including pipe fitting and fixture installation where necessary
• Assist with electrical wiring or installations in compliance with safety standards (where qualified)
• Apply construction painting techniques for interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintain a clean and organised work site, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or related trades
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and electrical installations is desirable
• Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, screwdrivers, etc.
• Competence in operating power tools including drills, saws, grinders, etc.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail ensuring high-quality workmanship
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour over extended periods

Pay: £24,420.00-£32,297.47 per year
