The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our lean and effective HR Team. Learn As You Earn – An HR Apprenticeship giving you a qualification and a career at the same time.
As an HR Projects Apprentice you will work towards the HR Support Level 3 or HR Consultant level 5 apprenticeship.
You’ll be responsible for supporting our HR transformation and providing administrative support for our Reward and HR Transformation team.
You’ll be building your skills, experience, and qualifications over an 18-24 month period (depending on the apprenticeship level). You’ll have a day release to attend classroom-based learning and will be provided with:

Role Description
Develop a brief understanding of critical HR functions within GA and develop a broad range of essential skills and knowledge, including how to improve and enable HR processes through technology.
Use understanding of business processes to automate, where possible, and provide innovative technology solutions providing business benefits
Maintaining quality awareness and identifying potential opportunities, diagnosing issues, and proposing solutions
Takes ownership for the definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of small-scale projects.
Supporting the project management of a project to completion, demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset.
Data Analysis and Reporting – where applicable, provide data analysis and reporting, working in partnership with the HR leadership team
Requirements
Is able to obtain information from business people in face-to-face situations, and to analyse information on users’ occupational tasks obtained by a variety of formal and informal means.
Has an analytical and creative approach to problem solving.
Prior understanding or experience of HR processes would be an advantage.
Has sound business knowledge and an understanding of current and emerging information and communications technologies and their level of maturity.
Candidates should be 18 years or over and have the right to live and work in England. You have a good fundamental understanding of issues related to human resources, gained through working in similar roles. You have the ability to think creatively and apply analytical and problem-solving skills, driving issues to resolution.
