Let’s start with what we have so far: Our customer satisfaction surveys show a net promoter score above 80, and we’ve served more than 4,000 bars throughout our seventeen years in the pub quiz business. That’s A LOT of happy geeks answering questions and, of equal importance, pints being consumed.

But as a purveyor of services to the pub industry, we’re still rooted in the past in many ways. And as we look to expand beyond that narrow confinement, we need just the right partner who can get us on just as sure footing in the digital realm as we are in in-person trivia events across America.

As our Marketing Director, you will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to craft campaigns that grow our audience across varied revenue streams. This includes live trivia service offerings and our digital marketing presence, including social platforms, website, and blog. You will inherit two full-time s, and have resources available to add to your team as you help us grow.

Overview

This position will direct all content marketing plans and cross-platform content strategies for B2C service lines, and work with our Business Development Director on campaigns for B2B lines as well. In addition, the role is responsible for the formation and management of SEO/SEM, email, social media, display campaigns, and site personalization efforts aligned with short- and long-term marketing goals.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing on content calendars to communicate key messages to multiple audiences by topic, type and channel (including, but not limited to: blog, video, demand generation, social, etc.)
• Manage digital ads and/or landing page optimization through multivariate experiments and A/B testing.
• Conduct customer analysis and data management required for campaign implementation; experience with understanding of common KPIs, conversions, inputs, calculations and outputs required.
• Knowledge of marketing automation tools and personalized communication flows.
• Competencies in SEO, Email, and Search marketing.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Write and edit copy, and provide direction for others.

Experience and Skills

• Technical experience: 5+ years of campaign management with a demonstrated ability to oversee and augment digital marketing strategies. Direct experience with entertainment/publishing industries a definite plus.
• 5+ years of experience drafting UX/digital content and/or content strategy.
• Expertise in B2C marketing and content strategies, and experience creating content strategies in multichannel networks preferred.
• Strong knowledge of and experience in growing visibility and engagement across social platforms and YouTube.
• Strong Google Suite skills with an ability to analyze data sets.
• Strong knowledge of campaign life cycle management, ad sales process and familiarity with online advertising ecosystem.
• Cross-departmental project management experience is helpful.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 per year
