Gearing Recruitment Solutions Ltd Looking for Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor at Maidstone, Kent Full Time

Senior M&E QS (Quantity Surveyor) with a strong electrical biased is required for a specialist engineering, HV, and civil firm. We are working exclusively with this client.

We have 2 positions we are sourcing for 1 managing multiple projects up to £2m and another managing 1 large project up to £25m in value.

Duties included but not limited to:-

• Responsible for running projects commercially from bid to final account.
• Dealing with measurements, valuations, and agreeing on work.
• Preparing tender submissions for subcontract works packages.
• Overseeing projects commercially from bid through to final accounts.
• Maximise commercial efficiency on the project you work on.
• Ensure strong relationships are maintained with the supply chain.
• Negotiate contracts and packages.
• Collating monthly contract reports.
• Supporting junior quantity surveyors

Qualifications / experience:

Relevant surveying degree or electrical engineering qualification.
