Gearing Recruitment Solutions Ltd Looking for Mechanical Supervisor at Guildford, Surrey Full Time

Mechanical Supervisor required for major industrial build/Civil contractor. If you are looking for an opportunity to start a career within the exciting Infrustrutrue industry, this could be it. 

If you have experience in heavy mechanical construction projects, process engineering new builds, pharmaceutical developments, or the water industry you will be considered. 

Along with an excellent salary and package, the business is big on progression. This is a technical role, to lead the installation on site. You will be on-site 5 days a week, running subcontractors and overseeing technical programs of work. Ensuring installation and designs are delivered to the highest standard possible. 

Duties

• Project RAMS
• Toolbox talks 
• Monitoring and periodic review of project commercial performance (with commercial colleagues)
• Project design liaison, review, and updating (with designers)
• Safe delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
• Management of approved specialist sub-contractors and wider supply chain partners
• Management of operational assets prior to client hand-over 
• Will have an engineering background with aligned academic and training qualifications

• CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS qualified for managing safely

• Ability to work to target dates across multiple projects, whilst maintaining output and timescale requirements

• Hold a valid full UK driving license

• Eligible to work in the UK
