The Contract Administrator supports the organization in all aspects of commercial and U.S. Government and commercial contract administration activity. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Contract Administrator, you will:

• Prepare and negotiate complex contract/teaming agreement terms and conditions and provide associated risk mitigation opportunities and recommendations.
• Support proposal preparation activities (fact finding, technical evaluation, and cost/price analysis), administer subcontracts, and execute supplier management activities (subcontractor inquires, resolve invoice issues) to provide for acquisition and fulfillment of direct requirements in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
• Receive and review subcontractor proposals, by examining estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Actively support Project Teams, working closely with Business Development, Finance, and other functional and technical team members to thoroughly review solicitation terms and conditions and to develop a compliant proposal.
• Drive all contract and subcontract negotiations; ensuring all resultant customer agreements minimize GRC risk
• Help identify, develop and deploy key metrics to drive the contracts organization to higher levels of overall performance
• Complete hands-on order entry of incoming contract documents into the designated ERP system Assist in the development of contract administration procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, customer requirements, and sound business judgment
• Prepare Certifications and Representations on behalf of the company Maintain records, spreadsheets, and other tracking documents as required to support: internal and external audits, manage contract-related data, and generate s as required
• Additional responsibilities may be required to support the business needs

Required Qualifications

• Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of a matrix organization; ability to develop relationships within all levels of the organization
• Ability to review contractual documents for sufficiency and risk
• Extensive organizational and time management skills; must be able to multi-task with a high degree of accuracy and detail in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment

• Familiarity with both U.S. Government and commercial contracts
• US citizenship required

Required Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS, and commercial terms
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple shifting priorities and deliver quality results under deadlines
• Business skills and credibility to advise and influence leadership team
• Creative and innovative problem solving skills
• ERP knowledge desirable, prior use of Oracle project accounting
• Understands and has an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications of contract actions
• Excellent teambuilding and situational leadership skills
• Professional certification (e.g., CPCM, CFCM, etc.) desirable
• Demonstrated ability to lead and negotiate complex cost-price and technical issues with customers
• Experience with government property administration
