The role is a blend of reporting and analysis of people data coupled with responsibility for the integrity of the data within the HRIS system, it’s updates and testing.
This is a newly created position and reflects the dynamic and changing demands of the business.
Responsibilities:
Manage all people reporting requirements – including employee data, headcount reporting, HR KPIs, monthly and annual reports, diversity reporting, organisational structures etc
Promote the utilisation of data, insights and analysis to inform strategic thinking around work processes and organisational design with a view of improving the business’ overall efficiencies
Lead on the development of the monthly people MI pack presented to the Exec Team/ CEO to ensure the data extracted is insightful and tells a story.
Collaborate with the HR team to develop and present relevant MI data to senior stakeholders to support strategic projects and changes.
Support HR Advisors in the development of MI for their specific areas of the business.
Responsible for data integrity with the HRIS to ensure accuracy of reports.
Manage the interface between various systems within the business to extract relevant information for analysis.
Support with the implementation of any future HRIS and ensure data migration is seamless.
Support the transfer of any reports from existing HRIS reporting software to any future HRIS, ensuring you liaise with relevant parties to understand report scheduling.
Responsible for running trend analysis processes to produce insightful reports and where possible looking at predictive analytics to predict future trends.
Provide HR data and where required analysis for tender processes and external 3rd party industry bodies.
Research external benchmarks for monthly/ annual MI data and incorporate in MI packs.
Provide analysis and reports for any HR survey information carried out internally.
Liaise with the HRIS provider to resolve system issues and build solutions to fit our requirements.
Ensures the HR team are kept abreast of people trends and MI developments.
Identifies and researches current external people themes / HR best practice and shares these insights with the HR Team.
Qualifications:
Experience
Experience of managing people data and reporting
Experience working within a HR function with a deep understanding of core HR service delivery
Experience of HRIS software and suppliers
Experience in developing board level presentations and data insight and reporting
Knowledge
Knowledge of at least one HRIS software and reporting tools
Knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel
Skill
Exceptional analytical skills and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to draw out insights from data and turn these into action points.
