Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare monthly financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information
• Reconciliation of general ledger accounts and analysing information
• Process and prepare Bank Reconciliations
• Prepare and process staff reimbursements
• Preparation and management of payroll
• Oversee Client budgets, costings, and billing process
• Management and reconciliation of Clients funds held in Trust
• Management and support Administration Staff
• Maintain accounting and financial security by following internal controls

Experience and Qualification:

Essential:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
• Experience with Xero Accounting Software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills; advanced Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting, together with the commercial acumen to apply these practically in a growing environment
• Must be able to display a practical application of this knowledge in bringing control and process improvement to the processes that are fundamental to the effective operation of the finance function within the business

Desirable:

• Ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• CA/CPA preferably, if currently studying towards qualification will still be considered
• Financial accounting background, preferably in NDIS Community Health Care
