As a Fund Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to support the day-to-day accounting and financial statements of our firm’s clients. Your essential functions will include preparing and reviewing calculations of investor cash flow activity, tracking daily cash activity, calculating management and performance fees, assisting in the preparation of financial statements and quarterly performance ing, computing and reviewing partner allocations, and responding to investor requests in a timely and professional manner.

• Prepare and review calculations of investor cash flow activity, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor daily cash activity and create projections to facilitate effective financial planning.
• Calculate management and performance fees accurately and in accordance with established guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and quarterly performance s.
• Collaborate with investment teams to review and validate the work of fund administrators.
• Act as a liaison between partners and accounting team, addressing inquiries promptly and coordinating ing processes with fund administrators.
• Prepare workpapers and supporting documents for the annual financial statement audit.
• Review and compute partner allocations and capital account statements.
• Support the investment team during transaction closing, providing necessary information and reviewing ing obligations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to partner inquiries and requests.
• Perform calculations for distribution waterfalls and carried interest accurately.
• Undertake additional assigned tasks as required.

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance is a required
• 0- 1 years of experience in accounting
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exhibit the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Display strong multitasking abilities and prioritize work to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess some supervisory experience.
