Do you have a background in Accounting or Bookkeeping? Our client is looking for an Accountant to join their team (and work in a HYBRID capacity). The ideal candidate should have previous experience with bookkeeping, G/L, month-end close, journal entry preparation and account reconciliations. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting month-end close, journal entry preparation and creating account reconciliations

• Process AP, manage vendors and follow up on exceptions

• Drive timely AR process, create invoices and engage with customers with a high level of customer service

• Reconcile sales taxes, credit card, and bank accounts at the end of each month

• Support the external audit, prepare PBC’s and help management create GAAP financial statements

• Work with accounting systems, pull reports as needed, including the financial statement reports among others

• Support with documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Help identify areas of process improvement and support ad-hoc projects as needed and identified

Requirements:

· 2 years of accounting experience

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related is preferred

· Excel and ERP experience a plus

· Strong communication and analytical skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Team mindset and willingness to step in and help in any areas needed

· Exhibit strong attention to detail
