Gattaca Looking for Senior Project Manager (water non infra) at Havant, Hampshire Full Time

The roles will have responsibility for projects in line with our clients’ AMP7 Capex programme and will manage a number of projects Hampshire and West Sussex. The candidates will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to specification and budget, whilst working to key deadlines and ensuring the quality meets the expectations of key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Accurate budget management, forecasting and reporting
• Ensuring the projects are delivered on programme.
• Ensuring project quality meets the specification.
• Managing key stakeholder relationships including internal departments, regulators, contractors and supply chain
• Working with stakeholders to promote effective contract management

Skills/Attributes

• Proven project management experience in the water sector or a highly transferable background
• Ability to manage multiple work streams.
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to negotiate at the highest levels with contractors and suppliers
• Ability to use initiative, adapt to change and work autonomously
• Able to demonstrate attention to detail
• Ability to use their initiative to resolve issues and drive projects forward to a successful conclusion.
• Pro-active approach to Health & Safety and customer service

Qualifications

• A proven track record of successful project delivery within the Water Industry.
• Good knowledge of NEC4 contracts and Project Management Principles is essential
• Non-infrastructure experience would be desirable
• A Civil Engineering or an Electrical and Mechanical bias is desirable
• Educated to Degree level or equivalent
• A relevant Project Management qualification (APMP, PRINCE2 etc)
• Full UK driving license required
