The Position:

This opportunity will be a full-time position, you will be working closely as an extension to the established HR team and have the opportunity to work both remotely and onsite with the client; as we are able to give the opportunity for flexible working and travel to other sites across the UK. You will be part of a wider Talent Acquisition team but ultimately be responsible for your own business function and delivery, reporting into the Talent Acquisition Manager.

The Job:

As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be recruiting externally as the client across all skillsets; a wider delivery team and an established supply network will support you.

You will be responsible for the strategy, sourcing and interviewing candidates for all skillsets across various departments.

Talent Attraction Strategy;

• Proactively targeting passive candidates in the market
• Proactively build talent pools for the future
• Maintain a good understanding of the Aerospace talent market and competitive awareness
• Promote the client brand in the market
• Managing internal applicants
• Engage with external supply chain to maintain consistent delivery
• Support the client with assessment and open days

Vacancy Management;

• Actively sourcing candidates in the market
• Owning the talent attraction for multiple UK sites
• Conducting first telephone screen candidate applications for internal vacancies
• Vacancy briefing with line managers to understand the role profile
• Conducting regular vacancy update calls with hiring managers
• Undertake pre and post interview discussions with managers and coordinate the feedback process
• Act as the conduit between the client’s hiring manager community, HR, sourcing functions, suppliers and brand management
• Debriefing with line managers following interview to gather views and feedback both on fit and interview technique
• If necessary, work with Relationship Manager and hiring managers to define additional support
• Liaise with the wider TA team effectively to maximise time spent on proactive recruitment
