Gattaca Hiring for InfoSec Engineer – £k – Hybrid c days p/w in office at London Full Time

We are working with a client based in Central London, who require a InfoSec Engineer to start work in ASAP. You can apply if either immediately available or on a 4 week notice period.

As part of a team of 12 people, this Infosec & Patching Engineer will be relatively stand-alone. Therefore you’ll need 1 years plus minimum experience to qualify for an interview.

You must have relevant commercial experience in the areas of patching and be able to show an interest in the Cyber/ InfoSec landscape.

This is a full-time permanent role from day 1 with full corporate benefits to match.

Core Responsibilities:

Identify and deploy critical security patches across all networked devices.

Follow strict compliance measure with regulations & policies.

Work closely with the Network Security manager to help identify suspicious incidents across the network.

Utilise JAMF & Intune and troubleshooting issues that arise.

Monitor systems to ensure all patching is completed successfully and track patch management metrics, producing s on compliance & effectiveness.

Ensure security patches are tested & applied to all affected servers.

Troubleshoot issues with the patching process, including installation failures.

Keeping up to date with new features to provide support & awareness to colleagues.

Keys Skills:

• Essential to have experience of working with Patch Management, ing, Agent Procedures & Policy Management.
• Up to date experience of IT Systems, Infrastructure & Security.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft & Apple patching schedules & methods.
• Have worked in a Mac & Windows environment.
• Experience working with ManageEngine or Endpoint Central, Jamf & Microsoft Intune. (highly useful to have some of these but client is willing to upskill)
• Must be able to work in Central London one or two days per week max and home working the rest.
• if Junior level, some understanding or demonstrable interest in any of the above. 1 years + commercial experience is essential.

The interview process will be as follows:

• 1 interview with the client in-person and possible offer
• possible final catch up call to iron out any final questions on an informal basis
