Gateway Science Academy Hiring for Special Education Teacher at St. Louis, MO Full Time

Gateway Science Academy is seeking a full-time teacher for the Special Education Department. This faculty member will begin teaching in the 2021-2022 school year and should be able to teach at the middle and high school levels. The candidate must hold a valid Missouri certification in the area, a clear background check, and a Bachelor’s Degree in a Special Education field.

Applicant should feel comfortable teaching in a college prep environment and must demonstrate confidence, flexibility, and student-focused abilities. Must have strong knowledge and background in SE and demonstrate the ability to teach all high school levels. There are coaching opportunities available for additional compensation.

Benefits: 50K life insurance, 70% of health insurance paid by the school; 75% of each class up to $3,000 tuition reimbursement per year; 8 sick/personal days and retirement benefits through the Public School Retirement System of the City of St. Louis, PSRSSTL.
