ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity exists to work for an Australia wide leader in youth mental health headspace right here in North East Victoria. During the height of the pandemic, 2021, headspace National announced the creation of the Early Careers Program (ECP) which offers new Graduates a supported 18-month position. This support placement will be across our sites in Wodonga and Wangaratta.
headspace Albury Wodonga and headspace Wangaratta is a consortium that comprises membership from Albury Wodonga Health, Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Services, The Personal Group, Junction Support Services, Mind Australia, YES unlimited, NESAY, The Centre and Gateway Health as the lead agent. This strategic alliance aims to establish a community of collaborative youth services improving access for young people aged 12-25 years in the early intervention of mental health, work school and study, general health and wellbeing or and alcohol and other drug issues.
The headspace Clinical Educator supports the coordination, development, and delivery of a student placement program. This role will also provide direct clinical supervision and/or field supervision to student graduates. This includes the provision of task supervision, mentorship, and support. ABOUT YOU
You are an established practitioner with a real passion for delivering clinical education. You will be a positive role model with a natural ability to mentor and support staff with an innovative approach to education delivery. Effective communication skills both written and verbal are essential for this role.

Psychology Qualification: Victorian Community Health Sector (Audiologists Dietitians Pharmacists and Psychologists) Enterprise Agreement 2018-2021
