We are seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team!

Gateway Autobody is a family-owned automotive repair shop in East Kildonan!

The Customer Service Assistant is a people-oriented individual who focuses on delivering an exceptional customer service experience while diligently ensuring that key paperwork and other administrative tasks are kept up to date and completed on time. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of clerical and administrative duties for the entire shop.

Responsibilities:

• Be sensitive and aware of customer needs and concerns.
• Show genuine empathy and understanding while building legitimate rapport.
• Ensure that administrative paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Remain aware of the details when creating, completing and submitting files to the insurer.
• Schedule customer estimate and repair appointments.
• Providing proactive customer updates as required.
• Maintaining an orderly work-space and organization of files/workload.

• Arrange Rental vehicle for customer and create rental contracts
• Update customer information in CRM system
• Assists customer service specialist by ensuring all payments are received, scanning documents into the system.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Fluent in Microsoft Office Products

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $12.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Plexiglass barriers; Masks are optional unless sick.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Winnipeg, MB R2K 0Y4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
