Gateway Academy Hiring for High School Math Teacher Full Time

Gateway Academy is a private day school, specializing in students who are diagnosed with High Functioning Autism and students who are Twice Exceptional.

Gateway Academy is the first 6th-12th Grade Private Day School in the State of Arizona, specializing in a pure population of Exceptional students. We are seeking a unique Teacher to add to our team of Warriors.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Math Teacher, who can teach Geometry, Real World Math, and Pre-Calculus , and who has a desire to work with our uniquely wonderful students.

Our student to staff ratio is a maximum of 14:1 in High School, which allows our faculty the ability to make a significant difference in our student’s social/emotional and educational lives! We are accredited by Cognia, and approved by the Arizona Department of Education. Core Skills Group, Peers Relationship Group, Music Therapy, Equine Therapy, Community-Based Experiential Learning and Dog Therapy are integrated throughout our program. Our dynamic program provides students learn via all learning modalities: auditory, visual, manipulatives, and experiential learning.

Academically our students excel, but struggle with social norms/expectations and sensory triggers. Our students have a thirst for knowledge, which is inspiring for teachers. Pay: $46,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
